I am a healthcare-focused UX design leader with over 20 years of experience in digital products, including 15 years specializing in healthcare user experience. My educational background includes a B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin, a Certificate in Human-Centered Healthcare Data & UX Design from Parsons School of Design, and I am currently completing a Master of Science in Management at the University of Illinois. I also hold certifications from the Nielsen Norman Group and the UXQB (CPUX-F and CPUX-M).

Beyond my professional work, I am deeply committed to teaching and mentorship. I serve as an Industry Mentor for the University of Texas’ Post Graduate UX/UI Program, guiding graduate students through projects, portfolio development, and career readiness. I am also a highly rated mentor on ADPList (5-star rating), where I have supported dozens of aspiring designers worldwide through one-on-one sessions focused on research, design systems, interaction design, and career strategy.

My teaching style is collaborative, practical, and student-centered. I combine real-world case studies with hands-on exercises, ensuring students not only understand core UX methods but also learn how to apply them in professional contexts. I’ve worked with learners ranging from undergraduate students exploring UX for the first time to mid-career professionals transitioning into design roles.

Key areas I can support include:

•User research and usability testing
•Interaction design, prototyping, and information architecture
•UX strategy and design systems
•Communicating design decisions to stakeholders
•Portfolio and interview preparation for UX careers

Whether you are brand new to UX or looking to refine advanced skills, I tailor each session to your goals and experience level. My aim is to help you gain confidence, clarity, and career momentum in UX design.
