I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, where I studied government, economics, and business. While at UT, I worked in the admissions department, gaining firsthand experience in what academic excellence and preparation look like at the highest level. That background, combined with my own coursework in quantitative and writing-intensive fields, gave me a strong foundation to tutor subjects ranging from reading and writing to math through Calculus I, as well as test preparation and study skills.

My tutoring style is patient, encouraging, and focused on building confidence alongside subject mastery. Over the past several years, I have worked with students of different ages, from elementary school through college, in both one-on-one and group settings. I enjoy breaking down difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps and tailoring my approach to each student’s learning style. Parents often find that I not only help raise grades and test scores, but also give students tools to stay organized, motivated, and independent.

I specialize in tutoring reading comprehension, essay writing, spelling, and mathematics (up to Calculus I), as well as SAT/ACT and general test prep. My goal is to help students feel less overwhelmed and more capable—turning moments of frustration into breakthroughs.
