I recently took the MCAT and scored in the 99th percentile on the Chemical and Physical Foundations (C/P) section and in the 96th percentile on the Biological and Biochemical Foundations (B/B) section. Preparing for the MCAT was one of the most challenging academic experiences I’ve faced, but I developed effective study strategies that allowed me to take the test once and achieve my goal score. I bring these same strategies and insights into my tutoring, helping students not only grasp content but also build confidence and endurance for test day.
In addition to the MCAT, I have experience tutoring for the SAT, where I focus on both the content review and test-taking techniques that have consistently helped students improve their scores. I’ve worked with high school and college students in both one-on-one and small group settings. My tutoring approach is centered on identifying a student’s strengths and gaps early on, then tailoring sessions to focus on active recall, spaced repetition, and problem-solving under timed conditions.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and have completed rigorous coursework in chemistry, physics, and biology. My tutoring style is patient, adaptable, and focused on building a strong conceptual foundation while encouraging critical thinking. Whether I’m working with a student on mastering MCAT passages or improving SAT math fluency, I aim to create a supportive and structured environment that promotes lasting improvement.
