Hello! I'm Anthony, a current Physics student at the University of Texas at Austin, with a 4.0 GPA. Hello! I'm Anthony, a current Physics student at the University of Texas at Austin, with a 4.0 GPA. I graduated high school doing the International Baccalaureate Program, scoring sixes and sevens on my tests. Furthermore, I scored a 1560 on my SAT, and scored maximum scores on the AP tests that I took. I'm well acquainted with how demanding these high school courses can be, but I make it my mission to develop my students to raise to the challenge.
My philosophy on teaching is simple. I want to inspire curiosity in those that I teach, and give my students the capacity to understand concepts on a deeper level that resonates with them. I want to encourage my students to be confident in the information they know, and the courage to find the information they don't.
I also have the unique strength of being more familiar with the rigor of modern schooling, and I hope to also offer my own personal studying techniques, to make sure my students succeed.
I've been peer tutoring 2+ years now, most notably with Physics, Calculus, Statistics, Chemistry, IB and AP classes, and SAT prep.
No matter what your goals there are for tutoring, I promise I'll do my very utmost to work towards them. I do both one-time and recurring sessions. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
