Currently I am an instructor at MIT teaching EdX courses in Electrical Engineering.
I have a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. I spent the last 10 years teaching computer programming (C, C++, Java), English Writing, and Ethics to undergraduates at the University of Texas at Austin. The students at UT come from all backgrounds, and as long as they were motivated to learn, I enjoyed teaching them.
I tutored Austin Community College students in Math, 1 on 1. Although I was hired for Math, I ended up tutoring Physics, Chemistry, English, and German also, because I enjoyed it. The students were eager to learn and attentive.
I have also teaching experience in Amrita University in India in the area of VLSI (integrated circuit) design and Technical Writing. I spent a couple of years as a substitute teacher in the Eanes school district, and this included Special-Ed students.
Teaching students 1 on 1 or in small groups is my preference. If you are eager to learn, I am eager to help you!
