Hi, my name is Youssef! I’m starting my PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin next semester. Hi, my name is Youssef! I’m starting my PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin next semester. I recently completed my bachelor’s degree in physics at UT with a GPA above 3.8, and I’ve taken extensive upper-division coursework in math, chemistry, physics, and biology.

I’ve been tutoring and supporting students for years, by leading group study sessions, conducting informal one-on-one tutoring sessions, and also formally as a Learning Assistant for organic chemistry at UT. In that role, I worked with students one-on-one, led small group sessions of 4–6 students, and even facilitated larger review workshops of 20+ students. These experiences taught me how to adapt to different learning styles and create clear, step-by-step explanations for even the toughest concepts.

In our sessions, you can expect personalized support that’s built around how you learn best. Whether you need a patient walkthrough of practice problems, visual explanations to make abstract concepts click, or strategies for approaching exams with confidence, I’ll meet you where you’re at. Many of the students I’ve worked with have seen their grades improve by one to two letter grades, and several have told me they left our sessions not just more prepared for exams, but more confident in their own ability to tackle STEM subjects.

My ultimate goal isn’t just to help you finish assignments or prepare for the next test. In fact, it’s to teach you how to learn. That means showing you how to break down complex material, recognize patterns across different problems, and develop habits that will serve you in every future class. By the time we’re done working together, I want you to feel capable, confident, and ready to tackle new challenges on your own.
