I'm a DFW native who has been tutoring and teaching for over 4 years. I have primarily tutored college students and acted as a teaching assistant while I studied at the University of Kentucky to obtain my Pharmaceutical Science Ph.D. This allowed me to work both 1-on-1 and lead group sessions with both pharmacy professional students and upper-level college students. At the high school level, I have mentored students in academic research and have tutored math, science, and test prep courses. I am enthusiastic about tutoring because it has allowed me to share my love of STEM with a new generation. I believe that the best teaching is done through example and practice which is why I try to keep my students involved in all steps of learning.
I am qualified to tutor most math courses (at least through basic college math) as I hold both a Ph.D. and a chemical engineering degree. My degrees are heavily focused on science and math which gives me an excellent background in those subjects. In my previous tutoring experience, I have tutored many students on these subjects.
I am passionate about teaching and I aim to help students in any way that I can. Please contact me for more information on how I can help your student and set up an introductory session! I look forward to working with your student soon!
