About Mike:
I have a background in both physical classroom education and virtual classrooms through online education. Prior to my College education career, I sharpened my skill as a life-long learner while attending boarding school. One of the most beneficial aspects of boarding-school education is that they experiment with different methods of teaching and learning. The objective is for each learner to find his or her own unique method of learning instead of using the same convoluted methods. Learning how to learn paid-off for me in College. I graduated in three levels of college education including bachelors, master's degree, and doctorate degree with a cumulative grade point average of 3.90 out of 4.0, which is essentially straight A's. Specifically, in technology subjects, I maintained a grade point average of 3.75 out of 4.0; and mostly because I like to take my time with Labs to "make assurance double sure" that my skill is sharpened well.

When a student is struggling with a subject, all that the student needs is someone who knows what he or she is doing and who has the patience and the good manners to point out what the student is missing or teach the subject in a different way. Most of the time, the student will start making the connections he or she is missing and when that happens, learning becomes fun. You cannot wait to get out of bed to apply your skill. The reason is because you are good at it. I am a good tutor because of how I learned the subjects. I will try different methods to see which one is a good fit for the student. I pride myself in being a good communicator. My method of learning was to focus on why I am learning the subject and what I will do with the acquired knowledge. I focus on being able to use the learned skill to design products. I never stop learning until I am completely comfortable with the different ways that a functionality can be designed.

I specialize in Client-Side Programming, including HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and JavaScript. I also tutor General Computing Hardware and
