I am an experienced bilingual elementary school educator. I teach in Irving currently and prior to that worked in the GPISD. I have worked with every level of elementary school students and also have experience tutoring.

Additionally, my wife and I run the Sunday school ministry at our church. As a teacher, I believe that kids can do anything- my job is to find their unique learning style and adapt my methods to them. I strongly believe that if a student doesn't understand a concept the way it's taught, then we need to find a different way to explore that concept until the student can own it, in their way.

I love teaching math! I write the math lesson plans for my grade level, and tutor for another grade level at my school. I also write he lesson plans for my gifted math class and have tutored all levels of elementary math.

I was born in Puerto Rico and am bi-literate. I value my Spanish because I lost it due to lack of practice- I re-learned my Spanish in high school and have taught in both English and Spanish for my entire career.

I love teaching science! I especially love the hands on element of Science and how it leads us to a deeper understanding of how all things work. There's nothing like doing an experiment and seeing a student "get it" because they did it.

I'm often my students "favorite teacher" and it's because I truly believe in my students. I look forward to helping your student grow in their learning journey!
