Welcome to my tutoring site! I have been teaching science at a public high school for the past 12 years. I have a bachelor's in Biology, master's in Education. I enjoy helping students and have had great success in tutoring Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Algebra I for the past 5 years. I am passionate about helping students to discover their inner potential. My method of tutoring involves going back to the beginning of the topic of difficulty and working step-by-step through the process...

Need Help with Algebra 1? Janet's the One.

Our daughter used to hate Algebra. She was lost with every homework and every test. Six weeks ago, the teacher advised us that our daughter is failing her Algebra 1 and that we should consider removing her from the class. We called Janet. Our daughter had a test the day after the first tutoring session and came home with a smile: 6 questions were easily resolved by a simple method Janet taught her the previous day! Two weeks ago, our daughter passed the State EOC test with confidence and ease. She finished this last six-week with an average grade of 92/100! She likes it so much now she wants to skip Geometry and move straight to Algebra 2 next school year! We are so proud of both and kid and Janet.
