I am a native Russian speaker, experienced in teaching the Russian language, as well as translating and interpreting, both orally and in writing, from English into Russian and vice versa.
I was born and raised in Moscow and relocated in the U.S. in 2000. I love Russian literature and art and want to share my love and knowledge of Russian culture with anyone who might be interested in it.

Tatiana is an expert of the Russian language and provides a very useful framework for her students to understand it. She's very patient and diligent in uncovering where my deficiencies are so that I can better focus my efforts. She provides homework for each class and goes through it in detail in the following lesson. Her books are very practical and cover a great amount of the Russian culture, including cuisine, for example. All-in-all, Tatiana is excellent. I highly recommend her for your Russian learning needs!

A Very Experienced Teacher of the Russian Language
I have only begun lessons recently and have, of necessity started at the very beginning with Cyrillic alphabet, basic nouns and verbs. I have found Ms. Tatiana to be patient. She has a great deal of energy, the pace never flags and before I know it the hour has reached it's end. I only wish language instruction had been like this when I was in college.

I had some difficulties in learning verbs of motion with prefixes in the past. She made them easy to understand. I need a more traditional approach of learning, includes homework and material to study. She provides them. She is also very organized and certainly knowledgeable.

Tatiana is great at accommodating all skill levels. I came in with only vocabulary word knowledge but very little confidence in speaking Russian. In these lessons I’ve been challenged in a very constructive way to actually speak Russian.
