Hello! My name is Julie, and I am passionate about helping students unlock their full potential in math, writing, and reading comprehension. Currently, I am completing my Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship at Southern New Hampshire University, where I maintain a 3.97 GPA and have earned honor roll recognition for multiple consecutive terms. My academic journey has reinforced my belief that with the right guidance, patience, and clear frameworks, any student can master complex subjects and build lasting academic confidence.
My tutoring approach is deeply rooted in practical application and organization. Before returning to academia, I spent nearly two decades in corporate operations, where I specialized in untangling complex problems and mentoring team members. Today, I am the founder and operations manager of an independent publishing house. When working with elementary and middle school students on math or foundational study skills, I draw directly from this experience. I help students see how numbers and organization apply to the real world, turning frustrating textbook exercises into engaging, relatable, and manageable concepts.
In addition to my business background, I am a children's author with a deep commitment to social-emotional learning and inclusive literature. I specialize in helping young learners and aspiring writers develop their reading comprehension, refine their creative voices, and confidently structure their stories. Whether I am helping a middle schooler conquer pre-algebra or guiding an elementary student through their very first creative writing project, my methodology centers on active listening and highly tailored encouragement.
