I am a college student. I am a computer science major. I have taken both calculus 1 and calculus 2. Since I am a computer science major, I have taken classes in C, because that is one of our primary languages we code in and one that I feel comfortable to teach. I don't necessarily have any teaching experience, but I was the founder and president of coding/Computer Science club. I taught students JavaScript and HTML. We had websites where we would learn the code, but I would learn the code in advance so that if the students had any trouble, I would be able to help them. I also had labs prepared or things we would craft, related to computer science, in are sessions. The sessions were in-person and there were about 20 to 25 students. The sessions were like 35 to 45 minutes long, once a week with an additional meeting with just me and the leadership team. This was about two years ago, and the students were early college high school students. This was a volunteer experience because I too was in high school, at that time, and I wanted to start a new initiative. I have been told I am good at explaining things, and I feel passionate about helping people understand things. So, I thought I would create a club that would teach people computer science.
