I am a native Persian speaker from Iran with more than ten years of teaching foreign languages to adults. I have taught Persian and English to multicultural students from across the world. After finishing my M.A. in English Language Teaching, I started to work at Allameh Tabataba’i University in Iran as a university lecturer, language teacher, and researcher. After obtaining my TESOL Certificate from Malaysia, I was promoted to the head teacher trainer in Iran. I have written a book entitled “Simple Techniques to Teach Persian to the Speakers of Other Languages” and four other books entitled “Teaching Persian to the Speakers of Other Languages” that will be the reference books for Persian language teachers in Iran. I have also been the head of the Persian language teaching knowledge test at Allameh Tabatabai University and have designed the Listening section of the Persian Language proficiency test. I am doing my second master’s in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Texas at Arlington.
I know teaching as an art, and in my opinion, it is one of the most enjoyable jobs that allows teachers to help students learn and understand what they are looking for. I usually use a communicative approach in my teaching, and I choose the teaching methodology and the content based on the needs of the learners. I have creative and up-to-date materials that have been developed by either myself or my colleagues that are written according to the principles of the teaching profession.
