I did my undergraduate at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where I graduated with a double major in General Physics (BS) and Computational Mathematics (BA). Now, I am a PhD Candidate at the University of Texas, Arlington, studying high-energy particle physics. I have several years experience teaching mechanics as part of my work at UTA, and a passion for sharing the field I love with others!
I have always had a passion for math, which is what motivated me first to study it at a collegiate level. I use much of what I learned frequently in my work in physics.
First and foremost, I am a physicist! Already several publications to my name with a specialization in particle physics. I'm always excited to help out with problems you encounter in quantum mechanics, electricity and magnetism, classical mechanics, nuclear, particle, or astroparticle physics. Just let me know!
I have about 7-8 years of experience coding in Python, which I have used for work all throughout my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I love working in python and have numerous side-projects I've worked on for fun. Experience using numpy, scipy, h5py, matplotlib, PyQt5, and more. Look me up on Github!
I'm most often free weekends and weekday nights. Let's talk physics!
