I am a certified Texas K–8 teacher with approximately ten years of public-school experience, six years of homeschool teaching, and five years of online tutoring. I specialize in elementary and middle-school instruction, particularly math in grades 3–6 and reading and writing in grades 4–8.

Skills can be tricky little creatures, so I look for ways to unlock them for students in public schools, private schools, and homeschools. I have taught in all of these settings and work to connect with each student individually. I identify what the student already understands and where additional support is needed. Whatever state assessment your child may be preparing for, I tailor instruction to the appropriate standards and testing expectations. Success breeds success--and that is exactly what I am working toward.

Strong preparation for future assessments begins long before test day. I weave age-appropriate vocabulary, word analysis, reading comprehension, problem-solving, and testing strategies into regular instruction. These skills support current classroom success while building a strong foundation for high school, college-readiness assessments, and future learning.
