Greetings! With over 25 years of experience spanning elite performance, studio recording, and arrangement, my mission is to deliver a premium, bespoke educational experience for emerging artists. Since obtaining my Bachelors in Music, I have had the opportunity to serve 1-on-1 (in-person and virtually), small group, chamber orchestra and concert band.

I specialize in mentoring serious musicians—from ambitious middle schoolers to advanced collegiate performers—tailoring my instruction directly to the individual needs of the student. Having coached over 500 students since 2006, my holistic tutoring framework seamlessly fuses high-tier instrumental technique with rigorous music theory, orchestral etiquette, and deep artistic development for strings, brass, woodwinds, and piano alike.

My diverse background includes extensive work in symphony orchestras, wind symphonies, chamber ensembles, opera, ballet, and commercial recording sessions. Whether preparing for a conservatory audition or mastering advanced musicianship, students in my studio receive the exact architectural blueprints needed to thrive in today’s musical landscape.

I believe that exceptional music education bridges the gap between rigorous technical precision and creative self-expression. Drawing on my background in both pedagogy and analytical curriculum design, I customize my instructional methods to align with each student's unique learning style and skill level. By integrating structured music theory taxonomy with practical instrumental technique, I empower students to build foundational cognitive skills while developing a lifelong, deeply-rooted appreciation for music.

I am well versed with traditional methods such as Essential Elements, Suzuki, Wohlfahrt, Kayser, Mazas, Hanon, Czerny, Faber Piano Adventures, Bastien Piano Basics and more!

If you are a dedicated student ready to elevate your craft, refine your technique, and understand the deep architecture of music, let’s build your path forward.

Ear Training

Ear Training

I completed AP Music Theory as a sophomore in academy with a weekly one hour lab on sight singing and ear training. I completed additional coursework and labs at the university, even tutoring my peers and local academy students. I have collaborated with local churches, demonstrating advanced aural proficiency, providing spontaneous, real-time harmonic accompaniment, atmospheric underscore, and melodic embellishments during live services.
Piano

Piano

I am a dedicated multi-instrument educator with extensive experience teaching piano to primary through high school-age students. Over my years as a music instructor for major learning platforms and the founder of LMS Sound Studio, I have specialized in guiding individual and group piano lessons from foundational basics up to advanced repertoire. My instructional approach focuses on building a rock-solid physical and cognitive foundation, specifically emphasizing correct keyboard posture, rhythmic accuracy, and fluid sight-reading. To ensure a comprehensive musical education, I deeply integrate music theory taxonomy and music history into my piano lessons, which accelerates student technical progression and boosts overall performance confidence. Having successfully prepared diverse student populations for recitals and academic milestones, I excel at customizing individual curriculum methods to align perfectly with each student's unique learning style and goals.
Violin

Violin

I am an accomplished violinist and music educator with over 25 years of experience spanning orchestral performance, solo recitals, and private instrumental instruction. Throughout my career, I have held premier leadership roles, including serving as Concertmaster and Assistant Concertmaster for the Keene Camerata and Section Violin of the Mansfield Philharmonic, as well as playing first violin for the Adagio String Quartet. Beyond performance, my chamber music background includes conducting ensembles, selecting complex seasonal repertoire, and guiding musicians through rigorous audition preparation. As the founder of LMS Sound Studio and a veteran platform instructor, I design customized, holistic curriculums that blend practical instrument mechanics—such as bowing technique and posture—with structured music theory. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Music and am a multi-year recipient of the Dale Heinrich Music Scholarship. My teaching philosophy centers on bridging the gap between rigorous technical precision and creative self-expression, empowering students of all ages and skill levels to build foundational cognitive skills while preparing for local auditions, orchestral placements, and solo performances.
