I have a Master's degree in mathematics with 20+ years tutoring experience and full-time teaching in a public school. Being certified in Math (6-12), I've taught different math subjects such as Middle School Math, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calc, Statistics including IB Math Studies.

I help students build confidence in themselves and succeed academically. Over the years, I’ve helped many students improve their grades, get past their fear of math, and develop real problem-solving skills. It’s incredibly rewarding to see them go from feeling frustrated to feeling capable and even excited about learning.
I work with students at very different stages - from homeschooled kids who need steady guidance and structure in math to IB students preparing for long, high-pressure exams. I’m familiar with a variety of homeschool curricula as well as public and charter school programs, so I can adapt to different teaching styles and expectations. I enjoy breaking difficult ideas into manageable steps and helping students think through problems instead of memorizing procedures. I help students build confidence in themselves and succeed academically. My students have improved their scores on SAT/ACT Math, state assessments, and the 3-hour IB Math exam.
