Hi I’m Ridaa! I am an incoming medical student with a Master’s degree in Medical Sciences and top-percentile standardized test scores (35 ACT, 1540 SAT). I tutor SAT/ACT prep, science, and high school math including Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus.
In addition to subject tutoring, I served as both a Peer Learning Assistant (PLA) in university-level biology courses and a peer mentor at my university’s Honors College. As a PLA, I worked closely with students to clarify complex concepts and guide collaborative problem-solving sessions. Through my Honors College mentorship role, I supported students both academically and professionally. I also led professional development workshops for high school students covering resume building, college applications, and academic goal-setting.
My tutoring style is structured and personalized. For test preparation, I focus on both content mastery and test-taking strategy, helping students with pattern recognition, time management, and efficient problem-solving. In math and science, I break down complex problems into clear, manageable steps to build lasting understanding and mastery of the material.
I understand how challenging academic pressure can be, and my goal is to create a supportive environment where my students feel comfortable asking questions and improving both their skills and self-confidence. I tailor every session to each student’s specific needs, whether that involves strengthening fundamentals, refining strategy, or preparing for advanced material.
I look forward to working with you!
