As your tutor, I first identify opportunities for you to grow as my student and I will create a plan for your success. Together, we will create obtainable goals for your academic success in the tutored subject. Frequent progress reports will be shared with you so that you can celebrate each success in our tutoring program! I will model the skill that you are to learn first during our tutoring lesson. Next, I provide an opportunity for you to practice the new skill with me in guided practice. Then, you will have the opportunity to practice the new skill and receive feedback from me regarding your progress before the end of each tutoring session. My approach to tutoring is to meet you where you are and focus on skills that you need to master to show progress and improvement in the shortest period.
