I am currently a Neuroscience major on a pre-med track at Texas A&M University, and my academic background spans a wide range of subjects including College Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, and Pre-Calculus. Alongside my coursework, I have spent over two years tutoring and mentoring K–8 students, and I have consistently helped peers, friends, and classmates work through difficult material at the college level. My experience covers both one-on-one and small group settings, and I am comfortable adapting to whatever environment a student learns best in.
My tutoring style is built around understanding the bigger picture. I believe students learn more effectively when they understand not just how to solve a problem, but why the concept matters and how it connects to the real world. I take things step by step because I know how easy it is to fall behind when material moves too fast, and I always make sure a student has a solid foundation before moving forward. I also have meaningful experience working with students who have ADHD, Autism, and other learning differences, including mentoring kids with disabilities during my time working with younger students. I know how to adjust my approach to meet each learner where they are.
At the middle and high school level, I am well-equipped to help students in Math — from Algebra 1 and 2 through Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus — as well as Science courses including Biology, Chemistry, and AP Chemistry. I can also assist with History courses such as World History, World Geography, and US History. For younger students in grades K–8, I am comfortable covering Math, Science, and History across the board.
