I am currently a Neuroscience major on a pre-med track at Texas A&M University, and my academic background spans a wide range of subjects including College Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, and Pre-Calculus. Alongside my coursework, I have spent over two years tutoring and mentoring K–8 students, and I have consistently helped peers, friends, and classmates work through difficult material at the college level. My experience covers both one-on-one and small group settings, and I am comfortable adapting to whatever environment a student learns best in.

My tutoring style is built around understanding the bigger picture. I believe students learn more effectively when they understand not just how to solve a problem, but why the concept matters and how it connects to the real world. I take things step by step because I know how easy it is to fall behind when material moves too fast, and I always make sure a student has a solid foundation before moving forward. I also have meaningful experience working with students who have ADHD, Autism, and other learning differences, including mentoring kids with disabilities during my time working with younger students. I know how to adjust my approach to meet each learner where they are.

At the middle and high school level, I am well-equipped to help students in Math — from Algebra 1 and 2 through Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus — as well as Science courses including Biology, Chemistry, and AP Chemistry. I can also assist with History courses such as World History, World Geography, and US History. For younger students in grades K–8, I am comfortable covering Math, Science, and History across the board.

Approved Subjects

Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I have extensive experience working through algebraic concepts including solving equations, graphing linear functions, inequalities, and systems of equations. My background as a STEM pre-med student at Texas A&M University has given me a strong mathematical foundation, and I understand how to break down problems step by step in a way that builds real confidence. I tailor my tutoring style to each student's pace, making sure they understand the "why" behind each concept rather than just memorizing steps. Whether a student is struggling with basic variables or working up to quadratic equations, I am comfortable meeting them where they are and helping them succeed.
Biology

Biology

I have hands-on experience helping students work through foundational and intermediate topics in biology, including cell structure and function, genetics, neuroscience, and human body systems. My approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into clear, step-by-step explanations that make difficult material more approachable, whether it's understanding isotope calculations in chemistry-adjacent biology topics or grasping how neurotransmitters and receptor regulation work at the cellular level. I am comfortable working with students at the high school and college introductory level, adapting my explanations to match each student's pace and learning style. My goal is to build genuine understanding rather than just memorization, so students feel confident applying concepts on exams and in future coursework.
Chemistry

Chemistry

I have hands-on experience working through a wide range of chemistry topics, including atomic structure, isotope calculations, mole fractions, solution concentration, molecular geometry, electron diagrams, and chemical dissociation. As a pre-med student at Texas A&M University, chemistry is a core part of my academic foundation, and I understand how to break down complex problems into clear, manageable steps that make sense to students at any level. I specialize in helping students build confidence with calculations and conceptual topics alike, whether that's solving for isotope abundance, working through Lewis structures, or understanding how ionic compounds behave in solution. My goal is to make chemistry feel less intimidating and more intuitive, so students can walk into their exams feeling fully prepared.
Precalculus

Precalculus

I completed Calculus at the college level as part of my Neuroscience pre-med curriculum at Texas A&M University, giving me a strong and current foundation in the material. I have helped peers and classmates work through precalculus concepts including functions, trigonometry, and graphing, and I understand which areas tend to trip students up the most. My approach is step-by-step and concept-driven — I focus on making sure students understand the reasoning behind each topic rather than just memorizing procedures. Whether a student is struggling with the basics or preparing for Calculus, I work to build the kind of understanding that carries forward.
