Hi! I am a professional mathematics tutor, specializing in test preparation tutoring for the ACT, SAT, SHSAT, and GED. I can travel within East TN for sessions, but also sport a top-tier online tutoring setup (webcam, stylus, and interactive style) that will make our online sessions as hands-on as local sessions would be. At 17, I earned an official ACT superscore of 35. In University, while studying the psychology of effective learning, I joined the Education AmeriCorps national service organization and tutored math and science at an after-school program for over 1,000 hours. In this role I did ACT test prep sessions, especially for improving mathematics.

AFOQT

The AFOQT has many subtests, including Math Knowledge and Arithmetic. These subtests require a solid grasp of many fundamental mathematical concepts. I have spent over 1,000 hours tutoring students in mathematics. Most of my students were preparing for the ACT Math section, which far exceeds the level required to ace the mathematical sections of the AFOQT.

The SHSAT placement test is a language arts and mathematics inventory used to determine high school placements in NY. Many of the SHSAT subsections are analogous to the ACT subsections, especially mathematics and reading. With over 1,000 hours experience tutoring students from middle to high school, including ACT Test Prep, I have a solid foundation for preparing students for the SHSAT.

Amazing, patient, encouraging SHSAT Tutor
