I’m a US Chess Tournament Director (TD) with Safe Play certification and school background clearance, so lessons are safe and structured. I focus on the fundamentals — openings, tactics, endgames, clock management — and I tailor each lesson to the student’s level. I also help kids get ready for tournaments while keeping lessons engaging and practical.
Outside of chess, I did MMA for several years, so I understand the importance of having a coach and a community to stay disciplined. I bring that same mindset to teaching chess: clear goals, steady progress, and a supportive environment. Whether your student is just starting or preparing to compete, I want them to enjoy the game and improve every step of the way!
