I have been a portrait and wedding photographer for over 20 years and have photographed around 200 weddings. I’ve photographed large and small weddings at all types of wedding venues, including churches, historic sites, barns, farms and backyard gardens. I love wedding photography. Photographing a wedding is not easy and is not for everyone, but I have honed my skill and approach through the years to where I feel like I know how to navigate the wedding day like the back of my hand.
I enjoy training photographers and I have trained several of my assistants so that they would be comfortable photographing their first wedding.
From an academic standpoint I have taken about 18 hours of photography courses with a 4.0 GPA. I have also completed 32 hours of graphic design with a 4.0 GPA. I have also attended several professional photography seminars on portrait and wedding photography.
I will advise you on communicating with the bride in order to help the bride be organized, how the wedding day plays out, how to organize your shot list, typical issues that come up at a wedding and how to navigate them. I will walk through each step of the wedding day with you.
