I am Ashlynne! I graduated summa cum laude from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Interdicplinary Studies K-6. I almost majored in Biology with a secondary education degree, so I also have advanced science experience. I have taught second grade and fourth grade. I have taught eighth grade science; it was my favorite! I can help with all subjects K-8, and I can help with some specific science categories. When I had my son, I left the teaching profession temporarily to raise him from home. Now I tutor on multiple platforms to help many students succeed. I love tv shows, coffee, spending time with my family, creating crafts, and going on adventures. I have a pretty outgoing personality and love jokes and making learning as fun as possible.

I have taught common core through my placements as a teacher in second and fourth grade. I also had student teaching placements in many other grade levels, so I have a lot of common core experience.

I have taught elementary science as a teacher. I also have taught eighth grade science, which is much more advanced than elementary science. I have taken many college science classes.

I have a degree for elementary school, and I have had to lesson plan to include a grammar feature. I have always thought that grammar is important and love to use language the correct way.

I have a photographic memory where I can spell words in my head. I have always loved spelling, and I know my love for spelling will bleed over into tutoring. I have taught spelling in elementary school and have used a variety of ways to do this.
