Hello, My name is Aidan Patenaude. I am a current physics and applied math major at the University of Chicago, and I have inherited a love for education from my mother who is an english teacher. I have previously tutored throughout all of high school through various student and teacher led programs, and I am excited to continue this trend in college. I generally prefer one on one tutoring though I have some experience with larger groups in classrooms. My specialties are in Math, Physics, and SAT/ACT prep. In terms of standardized testing, I scored a perfect 36 on the ACT and a 1540 on the SAT. I was also awarded National Merit Finalist and National Small and Rural Towns Recognition for the PSAT. I am able to tutor in all sections of these tests.
I am comfortable with tutoring at any age as my experience ranges from helping out high schoolers with calculus to teaching basic math and grammar to elementary school students. I am also more than willing to help out with college admissions for those in late high school and share what I have learned from applying to the University of Chicago. For the remainder of the school year (through the end of May), I will be available all day on Tuesdays and Thursdays and after 2pm(CST) on Mondays. Over the summer, I will be interning under a nuclear scientist in Idaho, so I will be in MST and available for remote tutoring in the evenings after work Monday through Thursday.
