Hello, my name is Michelle, I'm a physics PhD candidate at the University of Kentucky. I enjoy helping students understand what the formulas and equations actually mean. Sometimes students can have trouble seeing the applicability of the formulas and I'm a strong believer that once you understand how to "read" the formulas and translate them into terms you understand it greatly helps in figuring out the solution.
I also have a bachelors in painting and love creating. I have been doing art for most of my life and decided I needed to make sure I kept doing it. Because of my art degree I have been able to do commissioned pieces and sell other paintings too.
I am a physics graduate student who taught physics 1&2 labs and recitations for 3 years as well as helping students one on one in the tutoring center.
I studied art in undergrad with an emphasis in painting and have continued making art since. I have also sold several paintings over the years.
If you are looking for help with your studies I'd love to help you. Shoot me a message and we can do an intro meeting to see what you're looking for in your tutoring experience.
