Hi. My name is Harsh and I am currently pursuing my Masters degree at Peabody College, Vanderbilt University, I am from India and I did my undergraduate in India from University of Delhi. My major was Finance and Business Administration. Post my undergraduate degree, I completed an English teaching certification called CELTA from Cambridge University, Post that, I joined Teach For India (a non-profit in India which provides quality education to children from low income communities). I was employed there as a fellow. During my two years of teaching, I taught English and Math to middle school and high school students.
After my experience in the classroom, teaching close to 120 boys, I was employed as a Program Manager with Teach For India where I held several trainings on content and pedagogy for young and aspiring teacher. This is my 6th year in the education sector. For me, teaching is not just a transaction. It is very close to my heart and brings me great joy. I believe that good relationship is the foundation of good teaching and learning and teachers have as much to learn from their students. Learning is mutual and life-long!
