I am currently a student at Vanderbilt University studying Economics, where I have completed courses in mathematics, statistics, and analytical problem-solving. My academics regularly involve calculus, math in general, and statistics, which gives me a foundation for tutoring students in subjects such as algebra, precalculus, calculus, statistics, and introductory economics. I am also studying Russian and have a background in Russian as well.

In addition to my academic background, I have experience helping classmates and younger students understand material in one-on-one settings. Many of these sessions involved breaking down complex problems step by step, reviewing homework assignments, and preparing for exams. I focus on explaining not just how to solve a problem, but why each step works, so students can apply the concept to new problems with confidence.

My tutoring approach is patient and very interactive. I guide students through the reasoning behind formulas and encourage them to solve problems during our sessions, and not do it for them. This helps students build confidence and develop stronger, problem-solving skillsby themselves rather than relying on memorization. I have worked with both middle and high school students, particularly in subjects such as algebra, calculus, statistics, ACT, and SAT prep. Most of my experience has been in one-on-one tutoring, helping students review course material, complete assignments, and prepare for exams. As a current student myself, I understand the challenges these subjects can have and try to make difficult concepts clear.
