My background blends real business experience with formal education, and tutoring sits naturally between the two. Before earning my business degree, I worked in the mortgage industry and did small consulting projects for local businesses. Those roles taught me how companies actually operate—how pricing affects margins, where inefficiencies appear, and how clear systems can improve revenue and workflow. That practical foundation shaped the way I understand and explain business and finance.
After completing my degree, I expanded my training through coursework in finance, operations, entrepreneurship, interviewing, and career development. This helped me sharpen the analytical side of what I teach: financial modeling, budgeting, interpreting data, preparing for interviews, and making strategic decisions. I’m comfortable taking complex ideas and breaking them into simple, useful explanations that students can apply immediately.
I chose tutoring because teaching has always come naturally to me. Even in past jobs, I was the person people asked when they needed a process explained or a problem solved step-by-step. Helping someone gain clarity—especially in subjects many students find intimidating—is something I genuinely enjoy.
I’m also building an educational app focused on life and financial skills. Because that project centers on helping people learn effectively, tutoring fits perfectly. It lets me support students directly while also informing the learning tools I’m creating.
I work with students in business, finance, entrepreneurship, interviewing, and career development, and I focus on building understanding, confidence, and real-world skill.
