As a current PhD student in Biomedical Engineering at Vanderbilt University, I have built a strong academic foundation with a variety of rigorous coursework in Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and more. I taught introductory programming during my master's at the University of Tennessee to over 300 students each week. During my undergraduate (also at UTK), I tutored local high school students for ACT/SAT prep. I have a combined 3 years of college level instruction, and 4 years of high school tutoring in one-on-one settings. My technique is to get to understand my students' thinking well, so I can use their already established problem solving process to best approach new material during teaching.
