I am in my second year teaching in K-12 public education, and currently support two courses – one advanced elective for grades 10-12, and one graduation requirement for 9th graders. I previously taught Computer Science to a cohort of gifted and talented 5th - 8th graders at Northwestern University's Center for Talent Development. I have tutored virtually and in-person in 1:1 and small group settings since 2018. My approach focuses on providing students opportunities to work through problems, with scaffolds if needed, building their work ethic, problem-solving, and effectiveness.
