I'm a Nashville-based producer/mix engineer with over a decade of experience arranging, producing, editing, and mixing in ProTools, Logic, and Ableton Live. I'm a jack-of-all-trades musician, playing guitar, piano, bass, drums, and singing backgrounds in many of the arrangements I produce. I'm a Nashville-based producer/mix engineer with over a decade of experience arranging, producing, editing, and mixing in ProTools, Logic, and Ableton Live. I'm a jack-of-all-trades musician, playing guitar, piano, bass, drums, and singing backgrounds in many of the arrangements I produce. I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a bachelors in Music Production and Engineering, and it was at Berklee that I developed my skillsets for ear training, music theory, singing, electric bass, and music hardware repair! In Nashville, I work out of my own studio, which includes Apple and Windows computers, industry-standard plugin suites, microphones, guitars, (too many) basses, hardware/software synths and more! Apart from my studio side, I've played in rock bands as a singer/bass player for 10+ years and toured/competed internationally with an a cappella group!

I have 4 years of teaching experience, my best qualities are my patience, my ability to explain complex ideas in simple ways, and using my wide network of skills to answer just about any music-related question! Stylistically as a teacher, I cater everything to the student's interests and goals. I love helping my students build a strong foundation of understanding, because it makes learning the new skill much quicker! Whether it's hearing the 9 in that maj7 chord or listening for different tonal characteristics in your compressors, I've got you covered! I know many exercises to train your ears through my years of private singing instruction and Ear Training/Harmony classes at Berklee. My long-time use of solfege comes from my background in choirs and a cappella groups. As for mixing, I know there can be so many road blocks in the way of making music sound the way you want it to. Through my college education and freelance work in Nashville, I've overcome many of those challenges. I would love to share what I've learned so that you don't have to encounter them too!

I'm an active mixing engineer/producer, usually working with 4-5 artists at a time and on many songs simultaneously. I graduated Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor's in Music Production and Engineering, a selective 4-year program that teaches everything from analog signal flow and AD/DA conversion to artist development and advanced mixing techniques. From a non-engineering point of view, my background as a singer, multi-instrumentalist, and student of jazz theory informs the music I produce for myself and others!
