I am a writing and organizational tutor with 18+ years' experience and success in attending, on the masters and undergraduate levels, five highly competitive and diverse institutions (UPenn, Vanderbilt, NYU, The Colorado College, and University of Wisconsin -- Madison). I have an MFA from NYU in creative writing and an MLA from UPenn, where I trained in writing for all disciplines, in every style. I graduated with a theology masters, being trained in counseling, psychology, and vocational development, as well. I work with students in the Nashville area, and beyond, in developing their CommonApp essays, as well as staying on track in submitting all required materials on the SUNY and UCAS (international) systems. I love helping students discover their professional voice, toward the goal of receiving invitations and scholarships from the universities to which they are applying -- as well as discussing all of their possible and desired vocational and professional paths. I utilize encouragement and intentional listening, and small and large goal-setting, to help students find their way in an often overwhelming and also exciting time of promise.

I have an MFA in Creative Writing from New York University, an undergraduate degree in English from The University of Wisconsin -- Madison, and I studied writing for all disciplines, in every style, as part of my Master of Liberal Arts degree at The University of Pennsylvania. I teach expository writing, reading comprehension, literature, and creative writing for all ages.
