I am a history PhD student at Vanderbilt University specializing in twentieth century American history. I earned an MA in history from the University of South Carolina, an MA in history from Vanderbilt University, and graduated Summa cum laude from the College of William & Mary with a BA in history.

At the University of South Carolina, I served as a Teaching Assistant for four semesters, in which role I graded student assignments, led small group discussions, and regularly met with individual students to offer extra support in the class. I am currently a teaching assistant at Vanderbilt University and work at Vanderbilt's writing studio.

Regarding historical writing, in addition to completing an MA thesis and numerous article drafts, I have been published by the Washington Post-Made by History, the Chicago Tribune, Smithsonian Magazine, and the History Channel-Online, among others.

Zach is a really nice guy, with expert knowledge on subject matter. Talking to him is easy. His teaching style is down to earth yet professional and energetic at the same time. I was lucky to find him. Lastly his prices are extremely reasonable, things have gotten so expensive now a days, I'm glad to have found a person who still has some morals and doesn't try to get rich from every customer he runs across!!!
