I'm JR, a graduate assistant in the English department at Middle Tennessee State University, where my focuses are on Modern Drama, Pop Culture, and Composition/Rhetoric. I have extensive experience as a tutor and teacher, working as an undergraduate tutor at Bethel College, then as a University Writing Center tutor and in Student Support Services at MTSU. I have taught freshman composition at MTSU for the last two semesters and will be teaching again in the Fall '09 semester. Last year, I led a group of MTSU students in a creative writing group which led to a publication. Currently, I am working on my master's thesis on Neil LaBute.
