Chemical Engineer with experience tutoring organic and gen chem

I am currently employed as a chemical engineer, but I have enjoyed tutoring since I started doing it in college! I have a BA in chemistry from St. Louis University and a BS in chemical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. During my time at SLU, I did research in an organic chemistry lab for two years as well as analytical lab work in a government lab. Before my current role, I held R&D and product development chemist roles at a specialty chemicals company.

I know how difficult chemistry can be, but I hope that I can make it more understandable! I encourage questions and honesty when it comes to how much the material makes sense. Everyone is different and requires different methods of tutoring.

My background in chemical engineering has given me a strong understanding of math.

In addition, I have held positions in multiple chemistry fields, such as chemical biology, organic resin synthesis, and analytical chemistry. Having this exposure, as well as tutoring various subjects throughout college, has given me the confidence to tutor general as well as organic chemistry.
