I have enjoyed reading and writing since I was a little kid wasting time with my friends on the weekend making up plays and short stories to fight off small town boredom.
Since then, I have turned reading and writing into a career, going to college for a degree in English before moving on to get my M.A. in English in 2013.

After graduating I became a full time teacher for 3 years, working with high school and college level students. While teaching I have experienced continued success and directly seen students test scores rise and students ability to read and write soar. On top of classroom teaching I have worked as a tutor for 4 years, and have trained tutors for 2 years.
I have direct experience in helping students with their writing, comprehension of poetry and literature. As well, I have direct experience in helping students prepare for the ACT test (reading and English), the English EOC, and other area of literature/language that you might need assistance.
I try to make reading and writing fun and ensure that I will help you learn as much as I can.
