I also Home-school my own two children because they are testing two grades above their ages so that I can assure they receive the best education possible. I then teach children in China ESL online. Teaching is and always has been my passion and I love when one of my students no matter what their age finally get it and they understand the concept....

Teaching ESL to students in China on a daily basis, gives me a lot of regular use and experience in teaching English.
Home-schooling my 5 year old and 3 year old that are currently testing 2 years ahead of there age in school has given me daily reminders of the importance of teaching children passionately and correctly.
Phonics is a huge part of teaching a child to read and spell correctly. I use phonics in teaching both my own children and the children in China on a daily basis.
