Whether you're ultimately planning to be an artist, engineer or doctor, art can diversify your perspectives and bring culture into context. For those of you worried about passing exams, I can teach you to use visual cues to recall essential information so you will memorize less. I enjoy working with college students, adult learners, English language learners and high school students preparing for college. I have a Master's degree in Art History. I taught introductory courses at Syracuse University for 2 years as a Teaching Associate, earning a Certificate in University Teaching.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
