Knowledgeable and patient tutor.

Phyllis is teaching my grandson basic reading using phonics which is helping him to sound out words. He is moving along and is identifying words at the 5th-grade level. She is helping him to read short stories with more confidence and to quickly identify the answers to questions about the story. Using the Rote memory process seems to be helping him to understand basic math concepts.
