I have been working with youth consistently since 2022 in both professional and personal capacities.
Professionally, I began my career after high school as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where I worked directly with children with autism, ADHD, and other developmental and learning differences. In this role, I supported behavioral development, skill-building, and individualized learning goals.
I have also provided academic tutoring in math, reading, and writing. I tutored with Great Potential Tutoring for approximately eight months, working with school-aged children to strengthen foundational academic skills.
Additionally, I have worked with Literacy Mid-South for about two and a half years. I started as a regular tutor and later transitioned into a long-term substitute instructor. I am currently one of their high-demand, on-call tutors. In this role, I support students across various grade levels in literacy development and academic enrichment.
In my personal life, I have extensive informal experience caring for younger children. As the oldest cousin and an older sibling from a young age, I regularly provided childcare and mentorship, which helped me develop patience, leadership, and strong communication skills with youth of different ages.
Overall, my experience spans working with children of various ages, including early elementary through middle school, in both behavioral support and academic instruction settings.
