Hello, I am Cosandra. I have been math tutor since 1999. While working on my Associates and Bachelors degrees, I tutoring mathematics courses from elementary math to college algebra. I also have tutored ACT and SAT prep. I have been a licensed teacher since 2009. I enjoy helping students understand and apply mathematical concepts and skills. Hello, I am Cosandra. I have been math tutor since 1999. While working on my Associates and Bachelors degrees, I tutoring mathematics courses from elementary math to college algebra. I also have tutored ACT and SAT prep. I have been a licensed teacher since 2009. I enjoy helping students understand and apply mathematical concepts and skills. Some times the classroom is not enough. That is when I come along and help students of all ages by deepen their understanding of math concepts to develop and strengthen their math skills.

I will help my students set goals at first sessions and immediately start working toward achieve those goals. I want to be a bridge between the students and math. I look forward to helping them bring out their inner mathematician.

I have taught common core in Kansas, Missouri and in Tennessee. I am familiar with Common Core Math standards. I used curriculum resources that are aligned with common core standards such as Eureka Math, IXL, and iReady.

Excellent expirence

Ms. Cosandra is a very patient, enthusiastic, and experienced teacher who is familiar with both Khan Academy and IXL programs. Unfortunately, due to a scheduling conflict with my daughter's current commitments, she was only able to have two classes with Ms. Cosandra. However, I will definitely keep Ms. Cosandra on my list for future opportunities.

I really enjoyed my first session with Cosandra. She is very knowledgeable and she breaks things down to lay man’s term so that can you relate math to every day life. I can tell she loves to share her knowledge with students. I plan to continue my journey with her so that I can make a good grade on my math component of my ACT.
