Hi, I’m Abhash. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. Throughout my education, I always had teachers that took the time to provide every student with an equal opportunity to succeed. Therefore, I hope I can channel some of what my previous teachers have done to me and provide that same care and attentiveness for others. The main focus of these sessions will be to improve on the student’s individual weaknesses through practice problems and explanations of unfamiliar and/or difficult concepts.
My qualifications as a math tutor include previously being a student teaching assistant, achieving a 35 on the Math section of the ACT, earning a score of 5 on the AP Calculus BC examination, and volunteering as a math tutor at my high school through clubs. The main goal of these sessions is to bring the student on track and hopefully ahead of the curve through resources that the parent believe may work along with problems created by me depending on what I believe the student may need clarification on or more practice with. My main strengths include Calculus 1-3, Algebra, and Trigonometry; I am also well-versed in Physics and Chemistry
