Hi, I’m Jiya, a Mathematics and Neuroscience major at UTK. I tutor mathematics and Spanish for middle school, high school, and college students.

I have experience providing one-on-one academic support in structured tutoring settings, where I focus on strengthening foundational understanding and improving overall academic performance. In mathematics, I emphasize logical reasoning, step-by-step problem solving, and conceptual clarity so students can approach new problems with confidence. In Spanish, I prioritize accurate grammar usage, active recall, and consistent practice to help students apply language skills effectively in both academic and practical contexts.
