Thank you for considering me as your math tutor! I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction, giving me a strong foundation in both math content and effective teaching methods. Over the past four years, I’ve taught Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Pre-Calculus in the classroom setting, which has provided me with valuable experience in engaging a diverse group of students. I’ve also worked with middle school students and understand how important these years are for building a strong math foundation. My goal is to help you not only understand math but also gain the confidence to excel. I strive to create an environment where learning math is both engaging and enjoyable.

One of the things that sets me apart from other tutors is my classroom experience. I've worked with students in a variety of learning environments, which has taught me how to adapt my teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student. I’ve learned to effectively manage different learning styles, address individual challenges, and provide meaningful feedback. One of my favorite topics to teach is functions, and I find it rewarding to help students see how these concepts connect to real-world applications. Though functions can be tricky at first, I love helping students gain clarity and make those "aha!" connections.

My tutoring approach is centered around individualizing lessons to fit your learning style. Whether using visual aids, hands-on activities, or breaking down complex concepts step by step, I’ll make sure the material clicks for you. I also prioritize active listening and feedback to ensure that if something isn’t clear, I can adjust my approach. What sets me apart is my ability to bring a classroom-level experience into our tutoring sessions, helping you feel supported and confident in your math learning journey.
