Hi! I’m Eden (she/her) and I am a lifelong learner, curious human, and educator who truly believes learning should feel personal, empowering, and truly fun.
I began my post-secondary journey in 2016 and realized quickly that I may never land on just one discipline as my heart is in learning itself. In sharing that experience with others, teaching, for me, becomes about connection. It’s meeting students where they are, honoring how they think and see this wonderful world of ours, and helping them grow confidence, skills, and a genuine passion for learning.
I care how you learn just as much as what you’re learning, and our first few sessions are all about getting to know each other. I listen to your goals, strengths, learning style, communication preferences, and things that haven’t worked for you in the past. From there, I create a curriculum and study plan that evolves with you. I try to not have rigid lesson plans as no one-size-fits-all.
I’ve been tutoring for around 15 years, working with learners of all ages and backgrounds. My experience ranges from early math and language development to high school math and science (including ACT prep), to college-level topics like Linear and Abstract Algebra. I also love teaching computer science and have experience teaching and tutoring in Java, Python, and GameMaker Language. I’ve taught one-on-one and in small groups, both online and in person, and I’m always happy to adapt to whatever learning environment feels best for you.
Curiosity always matters, and growth is never linear. I’d be honored to learn alongside you.
