I am interested in helping students who are looking for guidance with writing, literature analysis, reading comprehension, ESL/TOEFL, and other topic relating to the English language and English literature. I am a published writer and teach college composition as well as work one-on-one with students at the reading and writing center at my affiliated university. I am currently working towards my PhD degree in English and have completed my masters and bachelor of arts in English literature. I have previous experience with Americorps working as a Volunteer Coordinator at Reading Partners. I also have previous experience as an English teacher for the Peace Corps, where I taught English as a second language in Central Asia from 3rd-12th grades. Also, I helped my co-teachers to prepare for the TOEFL exam. Additionally, I am fluent in Turkish and semi-fluent in Kyrgyz.
