I understand that Chemistry can be a frustrating subject for many students. From setting up chemistry calculations and formulas to learning how to read the periodic table, I can help you every step of the way. I use real-world examples, analogies, and mnemonic devices to help you understand and remember new or difficult topics. We will also discuss good study habits and test-taking strategies to help you make the most out of your coursework.

I received my B.S. degree in Chemistry in 2016 and have worked in the sciences ever since. I have taught high school environmental and physical sciences. I have also worked as a chemist in pharmaceutical, environmental, and industrial hygiene analytical laboratories. I currently work as an industrial hygiene technician supporting health and safety at a large multi-disciplinary research facility. Because of my experiences, I am able to provide background information and applications to make chemistry concepts more interesting and relevant to your career goals and interests. My hope is that every student will learn to appreciate how beautiful chemistry is and the way it defines the world around us.
