New to Wyzant, old to the LSAT test prep world. It's remarkable how learnable this exam really is. A fact that I've proven to myself and countless others.

I’ve made every mistake you can make on the LSAT, and as someone who believes that often the best tutors are the ones that have struggled themselves, I provide a natural fit for those looking to fix the mistakes they’re making, too.

Both through my time working with students and through my own journey, I’ve become intimately familiar with the LSAT’s patterns. There isn’t an official question that I haven’t seen at least once, and most I've seen multiple times. I’ve broken through several plateaus to score in the top percentiles of the LSAT and the GRE, and I understand what’s necessary to help you do the same.

During our sessions, we'll explicitize what is for many high scorers an implicit or automatic process. Understanding what these processes look like in action is the first step to applying them automatically under timed conditions. Whether you’re just starting your LSAT journey, or whether you’re needing to hone the skills necessary to break through a plateau, I'll work with you to focus on what it takes to meet your goals.

Let me know if you’d like to schedule a *free one-hour session*. That session is meant to do three things: (1) give us a chance to meet and to let me know what your goals are, (2) give you a sense of what a typical session would look like, and (3) offer suggestions about where best to direct your focus, while also offering resources (some free, some paid) based on where you are in your prep.

I look forward to meeting with you!

Proofreading

Proofreading, editing, and copyediting: -Personal Statements (JD, MD, PhD, and MA programs) -College Essays -Term Papers -more I have lots of experience helping people navigate the admissions process for JD, MD, PhD, and MA programs. Admissions officers often cite the Personal Statement as one of the most important aspects of an application (besides stats). In addition to the chance to introduce yourself, the Personal Statement is a chance to showcase your ability to communicate effectively. This writing should be as crisp and polished as possible. Not only grammar and syntax, good writing should demonstrate facility of language, varied diction, and above all, clarity!

Thoughtful, smart and clear-worded

Paul does a great job breaking logic games into plain English and has walked me through each step. He is reassuring and has really simplified the LG section of the LSAT for me. We’re moving onto LR and I expect a similar method. He shares ample resources and assigns out work to do in between sessions. Highly recommend him for anyone studying for the LSAT.

Great for reading comprehension and Logical Reasoning

I come from Math background and chose Paul as my tutor for my RC and LR. Paul gives very clear explanations of complex questions in logical reasoning and reading comprehension. He taught me how to simplify and understand very complicated passages in reading comp. I learned more from working one on one with Paul than when I paid for an overpriced course. Paul is incredible tutor caring, approachable, patient & offers great insight into methods of deducing lsat problems.I totally recommend him for your LSAT prep.

Paul is extremely down to earth and is to comprehend. He has explained the games in a way that no other tutor has. I feel like with each session, I'm getting better at LG.

Professional, passionate and talented writer

Paul is an extremely professional, passionate, and a very talented writer. He reviewed my law school applications and motivated me to re write some of the essays. The essays are now much more impactful and I’m almost sure they will greatly improve my chances of getting accepted at some of the various quite competitive law schools of my choice. I’m only sorry that I didn’t work with Paul from the beginning of the application process. I started my law school application process under the guidance of an allegedly much more experienced person that also charged considerably more than Paul. Paul has considerably more patience, energy and creative ability than the other person I used. It is without any reservation that I strongly recommend you use the services of Paul to help you greatly improve your probabilities of getting accepted at a law school of your choice. Sincerely, Charlie

BEST tutor!

I have had three sessions with Paul, and he is so kind, considerate, and knowledgeable! He is able to communicate the topics in a really effective and relatable way that would take me at least twice as long to grasp on my own. He is super helpful, and gives me assignments I can handle. He also is super accommodating and flexible, being able to respond to what I need as being in a different place than some other students. He also gives cost-efficient resources to use in studying, and always willing to work with me! Already booked another session
